Slowly the pigeons started to trust his sweet talks. One day the pigeons had a mutual sharing of views and they considered him as their king. After two days, in a large gathering of change of kings, the eagle took oath for protection, freedom and justice with all the pigeons.
Dear kids! It is the story of an eagle that was hovering over a pigeon’s group for some days and was in search of any pigeon to grab it and take it but all the pigeons were active and sharp in flying, whenever he tried to grab any one, they fly away. The eagle was worried and thinking that what he should do or what not?
At last he thought that pigeons were very active and fast in flying and he should change his strategy. The eagle kept on thinking that there should be some way that the pigeons can easily come to the eagle. So he got a way. He went to the pigeons and sat there for some time and than said nicely: dear brothers, I am a bird like you and fly as you fly, the only difference is of our size that I am big in size and you are small. I am powerful and you are weak. I hunt other animals and birds but you cannot do this. I can hurt the cat with my claws and you cannot. You are always afraid of your enemy. I want to protect you so that you can live with satisfaction and peace like you use to do in ancient ages. Freedom is you fundamental right and it is my duty to protect your freedom. I stay worried for you all the time as you are always in danger and fear. I do not feel good that all of you are afraid of me too. Brothers and sisters, I am against the injustice and I support the justice and brotherhood. I want to make the government based on justice and create opportunities of peaceful life for you. I want to have an agreement between me and you in which we pledge for a peaceful atmosphere but it is only possible if you consider me as your king with all of your hearts.
When you will do so that I will have the authority and I can protect you will all my attention. With this agreement, a new life of peace and freedom would start and you will stay happy forever. The eagle started talking to them such nicely daily and repeat the peace plan. Slowly the pigeons started to trust his sweet talks. One day the pigeons had a mutual sharing of views and they considered him as their king. After two days, in a large gathering of change of kings, the eagle took oath for protection, freedom and justice with all the pigeons and the pigeons in reply assured the eagle that they would obey him in any matter.
Dear kids! Than the eagle started coming to the group of pigeons and look after them. One day the king eagle saw a big cat around them and he attacked the cat along with his companions and the cat ran away. The Eagle assured the pigeons that he was protecting them and they should feel free and peaceful.
Like wise, the time passed by and now the pigeons were no more afraid of the eagle, they were satisfied and happy with the protection of the eagle. One morning the eagle came to the pigeons and he seemed weak like he was sick. He kept silent for some time and than he started speaking. He said that brothers, I am you ruler and you made me your king, I protect you and you live peacefully. You are aware that I have some needs and I have the authority that I can grab any one of you and eat. Till when I can live without eating my food? For how long I can protect you and serve you? It is not only my right that I should grab and eat you but it is the right of all of my royal family to eat you, as they all protect you with me. The eagle recalled the incident of the cat saying that If I would not have protected you than he could eat so many of you. After saying this, the eagle came near to a pigeon and took it with him and ate him.
Now the king eagle and his family started grabbing the pigeons daily and they lived in fear and worry all the time. Their peace was gone and they had no freedom. Now they were considering themselves more insecure than before and said. It is the punishment of our foolishness that why he chosen the eagle for our king and now what can be done.
For staying safe from punishment of grave:
Hazrat Ibn-e-Abbass (R.A) narrates that apostle (PBUH) of Allah said that whosoever will offer two rakaat prayer on Thursday after Maghrib prayer and recite Surah 15 times after Surah Fateha, than Allah almighty will make easy the death punishments for him and he will stay safe from the punishment of grave. (Ahsan Almabrat, Sheikh Ahmed Makki, R.H)
Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said that if any one becomes happy that he get tall palaces and his position go higher so he should forgive the one who did injustice with him, he should be giver to the depriver and he should make communications with those disconnecting communications. Allah Almighty forgive all of us and grant us opportunity for good deeds. (Muhammad Ayub Shahid, Tonsa Sharif)
